Really like Hamilton to cover the 5.5 tonight. Personally I believe they will win outright but I would suggest taking the points as it will be a close affair. Both these teams are battling for a playoff spot and this is the biggest game of the year for both. Winnipeg had a resurgence after firing their longtime coach D. Ritchie but after a 3 game win streak they have lost back to back games (albeit against probably the 2 best teams) and I think it is time to get back to reality. They looked horrendous at Montreal two weeks ago, while last week they were able to shock BC out of the gate before suffering a 2nd half meltdown. Bottom line is this team has a poor defense, especially in the secondary. Hamilton is a good passing team this year and also has one of the league's best rushing attacks. They will be able to throw deep off play action. On the other side of the ball Winnipeg has a very inconsistent offense with only their RB C. Roberts a serious threat. Hamilton will no doubt concentrate their effort on stopping Roberts and forcing Winnipeg to throw. QB Glenn doesn't scare anybody and add to that he suffered a shoulder injury last game I find it hard to believe he will have a big game. Hamilton's defense has steadily improved throughout the year and there front 4 is by far the best in the league and has a great pass rush forcing turnovers. Their new look secondary has held up and plays off the front 4's dominance.
Hamilton is the consistent better team and should take this one.
Hamilton +5.5, -104 *Strong*
also lean to under, about 3-4 pts too high imo
